Ye Shall Go Out With Joy And Be Led Forth With Peace

We have all too often memorized scripture without scripture ever becoming more than something we quote in a time of need. One illustration of what I mean is when we quote what the prophet Isaiah spoke in chapter 55 verses ten and eleven:

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

We memorize, quote, and hear these verses preached, yet never fully realize the meaning as we could if our faith were exclusively in the cross of Christ so the Holy Spirit could teach us and cause us to truly grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.Verse 12 should be added to your memory verse selection, because it gives the result of the prosperity that God’s Word brings.

For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

For those who have ears to hear we know the joy of the Lord is our strength and that Jesus endured the cross for the joy (our strength) that was set before Him (Heb. 12:2). We also know that He made our peace through the blood of His cross (Coloss. 1:20). Therefore for God’s people to go out with joy (strength) and to be led forth with peace, it will not come about by quoting the written Word, but by keeping your faith exclusively in the Living Word that became flesh and died for the sins of the world, so the written Word can have its true flourishing purpose in you. Hallelujah!! You can continue to pretend if you’d like, but the Lord doesn’t grant peace & strength just because you ask for it. The Holy Spirit will strengthen and bring the peace you need when you fight the good fight of faith, which is to keep your faith exclusively in what Jesus did for you at Calvary.

The apostate church is prevalent in every community in America today. They are easily identified. They do not preach what the Apostle Paul preached, therefore though they remain in the congregation, it’s the congregation of the dead, and the Lord calls them accursed (Prov. 21:16 – Gal. 1:8-9). We’ve been desensitized through the traditions and philosophies of men in whom Satan is behind, to beguile, deceive, and to steal our crown. We’re praying for you that you will exalt Truth (Jesus) once again over your husbands, wives, children, self, and return to your first love which is faith in Christ and His cross.
